We held 2 separate Humane Education presentations - one for preschoolers and one for school age children.
The children learned compassion and responsibility related to what a dog needs, a dog's feelings, and how to be safe around a dog. The kids became very involved, and we had a lot of fun teaching them! At the end, the children practiced safe petting on our therapy dog teams of Carol & Bernie, Jennifer & Cody and Matt & Zoe. Darcel was our presenter along with Elena, who participated in the presentations. Thank you to everyone who made this possible! Click here for pictures of the event.
